The president of Hockey Wales, the governing body for hockey in Wales, Anne Ellis, is number 27 on the Wales Sport Power List 2014. The list is comprised of the top 50 people who are the most influential within sport in Wales and have a huge impact in the growth of sport throughout the country and beyond.
Some other people who have appeared on the list are the likes of Warren Gatland, Leigh Halfpenny, Tanni Grey Thompson, Dave Brailsford, Ryan Giggs and a truckload of other well regarded, house hold names.

The former Great Britain hockey star, who was the Team GB captain in 1980 but missed the Moscow Olympics on political grounds, sits at the top table of the International and Euro Hockey Federations.
Ellis was awarded a lifetime achievement medal by BBC Wales in 2011 and after dedicating herself to Welsh sport, she was a 2012 Olympic torch bearer.
Ellis is president of the Commonwealth Games Council for Wales, so will have an influential role to play in the build-up to the Glasgow Games this summer
