Hockeyroos Anna Flanagan Shortlisted for Cosmopolitan Fun Fearless Females
Anna Flanagan, a sensational member of the golden Hockeyroos squad who held their nerve to over come England in the Commonwealth Games held in Glasgow in 2014 to win the covated gold medal has been shortlisted in Cosmopolitan’s Fun Fearless Females covergirl competition.
Flanagan, 22, has been nominated for the award in 2013, and is up against another 7 other Australian sporting ladies for the chance to go through to the finals. The top 3 from each category will go through to the finals.
The FIH Young Player of the Year (2012) is up against Torah Bright (snowboarder), Meg Lanning (cricketer), Courtney Hancock (ironwoman), Naomi Flood (ski paddler), Tyler Wright (surfer), Cate Campbell (swimmer), Caroline Buchanan (BMX and mountain bike cyclist), Kim Crow (rower) and Samantha Hammond (rugby league player).
