Local hockey clubs get involved in ALS ice bucket challenge

This evening, a North West Wales based hockey club took to the ice buckets all in the name of charity to get involved in the ice bucket challenge.  Clwb Hoci Ardudwy ac Arfon Hockey Club got together during a preseason training and chucked the icy water over each other in good humour.  The girls are wearing their green and navy kit as well as the purple and white summer league kit!

The gaggle then urged three other Welsh hockey clubs, two from the North and one from the South to get involved.

All three, Dysynni Hockey Club, Denbigh Hockey Club and Cardiff Met are invited to partake in the epic viral phenomenon that’s taking the UK, and the rest of the world, by storm.

All funds are raised for ALS or MND here in the UK, and is raising awareness to what exactly the disease is and how it affects many sufferers from around the globe.

Watch the video below and why not see if you can get your own club involved?  I heard ice baths is good for the muscles after a hard training session?
