Play Rush Hockey at London 2012 venue
Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre is launching Rush Hockey sessions on Thursday 18 September giving players of all abilities the chance to try this fast and furious version of the sport on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Rush Hockey is played with simplified rules on a compressed area of the pitch and is comparable to five-a-side football. Equipment is provided and the sessions will cost just £6 per person or £4 for concessions.
Ashley Bartlett, Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre Manager said: “Rush Hockey is ideal for people who have busy lifestyles and can’t commit to weekly training and fixtures.
“It’s a great social sport and we’re hoping that the opportunity to play on the best hockey pitch in the country in this relaxed environment will prove a popular draw for players.”
Rush Hockey sessions will run every Thursday evening from 19:00 to 20:00 from Thursday 18 September.
