Hockey coaches have an amazing opportunity to sharpen their skills on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park with Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre hosting an Integrating Goalkeepers workshop on Friday 7 November.
The coaching workshop, which is an integral part of the Great Britain Coaching Club Programme, will utilise the state-of-the-art facilities and stunning Union Jack fringed pitches at the sport’s London 2012 legacy venue in east London.
During the three hour session coaches will get to grips with cutting edge techniques around integrating goalkeepers effectively into training drills with other outfield players.
Hockey coaches will take away the latest methods of creating match like scenarios for players at training and learn how to involve goalkeepers of various standards in sessions which they will immediately be able to put into practice.
The Integrating Goalkeepers workshop will take place at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre between 19:00 and 22:00 on Friday 7 November.
Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre will also host the Engaging Games for Children workshop on Friday 5 December and Coaching for Club Players on Friday 13 February which are also part of the Great Britain Coaching Club Programme.
