The scores from all matches are as follows:
- Scotland 1 – 2 Wales | Friday, May 26th
- Scotland 0 -1 Wales | Sunday, May 28th
- Scotland 1 – 2 | Monday, May 29th
Wales Women’s first match on Friday signaled their first win over Celtic neighbors Scotland for the first time in a decade.
A huge congratulations to Tina Evans who won her 100th international cap for Wales whilst representing her country today (May 29th) in the last match against Scotland.
Fellow team mate Leah Wilkinson has stated how inspiring and driven the team were to win such a gripping test series on Twitter:
The test series was memorable for many reasons, but was especially momentous for Scotland’s Rebecca Condie, who played againt her fiance Tina Evans, who gained her 100th cap today (May 29th, 2017). Condie took to Twitter to state how proud she was of her fiance, which is a great testiment to how inclusive hockey is, a shining example of the supportive foundation and culture of the sport:
Winning the test in such dramatic fashion will undoubtedly be a huge boost for the ladies’ moral ahead of the European Championship II, which is held at Sophia Gardens, home of Welsh hockey, between August 7th – 11th.
