Wales Men’s EuroHockey Championship II Fixtures – Glasgow, 2017
Wales Men’s International Hockey team are heading to fellow Celt country of Scotland to play in the EuroHockey Championship II tournament in August.
During international preparation games, Wales have already shown their ferocious scoring ability, with games against Australia overspilling with goals from both sides. Wales will face Austria during the tournament, both teams in Pool B, along with Switerland and Russia.
The Welshmen won 1 (4-3), drew 1 (3-3) and lost 1 (5-3) in Vienna, which indicates that there is everything to play for in Glasgow in August. It is evident that the week will be an enthralling hockey experience, with the games promising blistering pace, creative play and striking performances from each country.

Wales are heading off to Poland this weekend as a final preparation test series before heading up the motorway to Scotland. They are hoping to build on their performance in Austria, reflecting on some important lessons.
